Prepare systems before freezing conditions

Identify irrigation zones, shutoffs and sensitive equipment. Check what the property owner maintains and what is included in the grounds agreement.

Build the Site-Specific Scope

Arrange winterization using methods appropriate for the system and qualified personnel. Document incomplete work or components needing repair before spring.

Record What Will Be Reviewed

Use a dated site record to describe the observed condition, the proposed action and the person responsible for followup. Photographs can help explain a location or symptom, but they should be accompanied by a clear description.

For several properties, use common field names and preserve site-level exceptions. Compare recurring issues during the seasonal review so repairs and capital projects can be planned separately from normal maintenance.

Important Scope Considerations

Improper pressure or procedures can damage components. This overview is not a do-it-yourself compressed-air instruction.
